Project Overview

This landmark poster project focuses on Apo Whang-Od, the last and oldest traditional mambabatok (hand-tap tattoo artist) from the Philippines. The poster highlights her cultural significance, the preservation of indigenous tattoo traditions, and the physical journey required to reach her remote village in Buscalan, Kalinga.

The design incorporates iconography and visual data to communicate information clearly while celebrating Filipino heritage.
